Enhancing coordination and collaboration of CSO efforts to end child trafficking
Applied Value worked together with Child10 on a study mapping out what available support and needs there are for victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Sweden. Click the link below to read the report.
Applied Value conducted a survey for Child10 reaching out to 115 organizations working with victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Sweden, collating information about their support services and activities. In addition to the survey, AV also held 16 in-depth interviews with a selection of these organizations to get a deeper understanding of their programs and efforts.
The survey was vital in producing a report providing a much-needed overview of the support available to victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Sweden. The report received massive attention in Sweden and was widely discussed on social media, newspapers, TV, and at a political level.
As part of the work, Child10 also created the website nyarsloftet.nu that reached international spread. This report created with the support from Applied Value has jumpstarted a national conversation on the support provided to one of the most vulnerable groups in Swedish society.
