Roles
Consultant Intern
Our internship allows each candidate to gain in-depth experience of a full-time AV seal. Interns are expected to contribute from day 1 by partaking in client engagements, sales activities, and special projects across Applied Value Group.
Analyst
Analysts are key project team members. As an analyst, you’ll run analysis, work with the client, and gain experience while learning with your project team.
Consultant
Consultants are given ownership of project research and analysis while helping to drive project approaches and implementation. As a consultant, you will be trusted with the quality, direction, and success of projects.
Senior Consultant
Senior Consultants continue to direct their workstreams while receiving management training and taking on the responsibility of leading a small team. Senior consultants are expected to drive project success while acquiring hands-on management experience.
Consultant Intern

Career Progression
Managers are directly responsible for structuring and driving projects. Managers at AV own project success and client interactions while guiding others and supporting analyses
Senior Managers are the first point of contact for clients and the most senior member of “boots on the ground” client teams. Senior Managers work to guide project management and team performance while also balancing increased responsibilities to develop Applied Value’s business through lead generation, relationship-building, and sales.
As a member of the group leadership team, Associate Partners are responsible for the development, project work, and overall trajectory of the company. APs utilize their superior network, sales capabilities, and consulting expertise to secure Applied Value’s continued success
Applied Value partners report directly to the Applied Value Chairman and contribute to the overall and long-term success of AV. Partners help guide the business, personnel, and sales strategies for the firm.

What we look for
At Applied Value, fit is everything. A team of decisive, highly motivated consultants, we’re looking for candidates who are results-oriented and capable of delivering in any type of environment. Demonstrated leadership, business acumen, financial skills, and a willingness to travel are essential. Previous start-up, management, engineering, or sales experience is a plus. Flexibility, drive, and a hunger to win are critical to success.
Process
Applied Value uses a multi-phased interview process to identify qualified candidates who are a strong cultural fit
Initial Screening
All applicants must submit a resume/CV complete with a cover letter and GPA
1st Round Interviews
1st round interviews start with a quantitative skills test and include interviews with consultants to assess skill and knowledge
2nd Round Interviews
2nd round interviews with partners assess candidate “fit” and capability with behavioral and case questions
Offer Letter
Offer letters are typically shared within 1-4 weeks of 2nd round interviews
